This is when Swansea Waterfront Winterland 2019 opens

The magical winter event returns in just one week’s time to Swansea’s Museum Gardens from 15th November 2019 until 6th January 2020 – providing visitors with the ultimate winter experience they most definitely won’t forget.

Those looking for a festive day out can count on Swansea’s Waterfront Winterland to provide fun for all the family with a range of funfair attractions, food & drink stalls, and the much-loved ice rink.

Admission to Waterfront Winterland is FREE, but tickets must be bought if visitors wish to use the ice rink. The rink will remain undercover this year – a popular choice as skaters can still enjoy the attraction even in bad weather conditions and remain sheltered during their ice-skating session.

The ice rink will also include ‘relaxed sessions’ again this year – skating sessions with reduced sound levels, static lighting and decreased capacity to ensure visitors with autism and learning difficulties can still enjoy the facilities during specially selected timeslots.

As well as some festive favourites, visitors can expect some new attractions such as a brand-new Alpine Bar, where you can enjoy a beer or a mulled wine in the cosiest of spaces.

Also new for 2019 is Ice Extreme – one for the thrill seekers amongst you – and fairground classic Dodgems. Also returning this year is the 33m giant wheel which offers expansive views of Swansea Bay and the city.

Swansea’s Waterfront Winterland will once again be run by Sayers Events and 11th Hour – both event specialists across South Wales with an impressive portfolio behind them, including sister event Cardiff’s Winter Wonderland.
