    Welsh entrepreneur braves Bond-style skydive to raise funds for Sense charity

    A North Wales developer has spent the pandemic year supporting Sense charity by rolling our 20 charity shops across Wales.

    Rob Lloyd, from Rhos on Sea, has since embarked on an incredible 12 month challenge to raise funds to support specialist disability services in Wales, run by the national disability organisation.

    The second of his challenges took place earlier this week as he took to the skies and braved a Bond-style skydive thanks to a generous sponsorship from Bolton-based, PMJ Capital.

    Rob Lloyd, CEO of Bearmont Capital, said: “I am delighted to be raising awareness and much needed funds for Sense Charity.

    “I must admit, this was a huge personal challenge for myself so we wanted to have a bit of fun with it, dressing up as James Bond and re-enacting scenes certainly created a fun atmosphere on the day.”

    “So far we have raised over £17,600 which is an amazing amount to start.”

    Award-winning actor and former The Cops and Heartbeat star, Jack Marsden, also joined Rob for the challenge, along with his daughter’s grandmother, Zdenka from Real Housewives of Cheshire.

    Chief Executive of Sense, Richard Kramer, said: “We’re incredibly grateful to Rob for taking on this incredible challenge. He has been a fantastic supporter of Sense over the years making a huge difference to the work we are able to do to support children and adults who have complex disabilities.

    It’s only thanks to supporters like Rob that Sense is able to continue its work and we wish him the best of luck!”
