Starts: Fundraiser, Rob Lloyd, has taken on the world’s fastest seated zip line to help raise money for charity.

Daredevil, Rob, took on the challenge at Zip World Tower on Friday (January 21) as part of his year-long fundraising campaign called Rob’s Sense-less Challenge to raise funds for Sense charity.

Rob has been fundraising for Sense since March 2020 and has continued to push himself to the limit to raise money for a cause that is so close to his heart.

Rob has already undertaken numerous crazy challenges including marathons, skydiving; joining the SAS for a gruelling weekend of physical activity; scaling the Three Peaks and cycling and running a 500-mile Tour of Wales in treacherous conditions last December.

He said: “COVID-19 has had a devastating impact on many of the families Sense supports and so the last year, more than ever, the charity has needed the support of fundraisers and donors. I’m very proud to have played a part in helping raise much-needed funds for the charity and the people they help.”

Rob has set himself an ambitious target of £100,000 and is getting very close to achieving this goal. His most recent challenge was sponsored by Manchester-based, PMJ Capital who provided a generous donation of £1000.

Dave Rainford, Managing Director of PMJ Capital said: “We are delighted to support Rob on another of his Senseless challenges. The sheer determination Rob has shown over the past year for such a deserving charity needs to be applauded and we are proud to have played our part along the way.”

Rob is still seeking sponsorship for his upcoming challenges this year, to get involved or donate, please visit: www.justgiving.com/campaign/robschallenge
