Eurobond Laminates and Kidney Wales are challenging companies throughout Wales to step up for this year’s famous Nation Radio Cardiff 10K race this autumn.

The Cardiff-based business, which is a UK market leader in the design and manufacture of non-combustible core composite panels for the construction industry, has joined forces with Kidney Wales by sponsoring the Corporate Challenge in this year’s 10K race and has also entered a team of fourteen employees from their head office in South Wales where they market and distribute their products to over thirty countries world-wide.

This year’s Nation Radio Cardiff 10K & 2K Family Fun Run will take place on Sunday 2nd September and will see a staggering 10,000 runners descend upon the city centre to take on the brand-new route. The corporate team challenge is open to runners of all abilities and aims to bring people together to nurture a sense of team spirit, while enjoying a race through Wales’ capital city all in the name of charity. Runners can choose to raise money for Kidney Wales or for another cause close to their heart. Hundreds of thousands of pounds has been raised over the years for race organisers Kidney Wales and other good causes.

Eurobond Marketing Manager, James Francis, said: “After entering a corporate team for the last couple of years, we decided to go even further this year and sponsor the corporate challenge for Kidney Wales as well as entering a team again. We hope by working alongside Kidney Wales, we can deliver the best Cardiff 10K Corporate Challenge yet.

“Our company has always enjoyed the healthy competition you experience by taking part in this excellent team building activity, and we anticipate that this year will be bigger and better than ever before; we’d like to challenge and welcome the competition from other companies to become the fastest team in Wales. It is the perfect chance to bring work colleagues together outside of work and what a brilliant way to strengthen work relationships, have fun and get fit, all while raising money for charity.”

Kidney Wales Director, Nic Clarke, said: “We’d like to thank Eurobond Laminates for their support and sponsorship of this year’s Corporate Challenge and we look forward to working with them to deliver another exciting race this September. Our annual race helps us raise awareness of kidney diseases and the work our charity does throughout the year to improve the lives of kidney patients and their families, by improving the standard of care and life-saving treatments right here in Wales.

“The event is a highlight in our calendar as it allows us to really engage with people in the community and gives us the platform to raise valuable funds that allow us to make an impact, as well as giving people the chance to race for any charity they are passionate about.

“General entries for the 2017 Cardiff 10K & 2K sold out in record times, so sign up today to avoid disappointment and begin training and fundraising. Why not challenge the business next door to your office, or invite your clients to race you in the Nation Radio Cardiff 10K and make this the year your business achieves another type of goal?”
