Finboot relocates to Cardiff’s new tech hub

Finboot today announces it has become one of the latest tech companies to join Cardiff’s newest dedicated tech and innovation hub, Campus.

Finboot joins Delio, WeGetDesign and Oxford PharmaGenesis by relocating to this unique, modern office environment in Windsor Place, becoming part of a rapidly expanding technology and innovation community in the heart of Cardiff, in close proximity to Queen Street Station and various social amenities.

The move reflects the technology firm’s growth since making Cardiff its headquarters in 2021. Operating in the B2B space, the technology company helps customers accelerate their digital transformation while realising value and building trust through blockchain.

The modernisation of 29-31 Windsor Place, which in total measures c. 10,000 sq. ft, represents the first stage of the creation of a technology and innovation cluster in Cardiff City Centre, supporting ambitious business across several sectors. The project has received strong local support from Cardiff City Council and Hodge Bank, reinforcing the project’s mission to combine the area’s history with the vision of creating a central, collaborative focal point for scalable businesses and providing accessible facilities to ensure Cardiff retains key talent in the region.

Nish Kotecha, Co-founder and Chairman of Finboot commented: “Given the continued growth of Finboot, we needed more space for our expanding team. Despite our flexible working culture, there was a strong desire from our colleagues to have an office space that enables us to work together and retain an element of in-person working. By nature, we are a creative and innovative team so we felt instantly at home in Windsor Place, given the space has been specifically designed to cater for Cardiff’s flourishing tech community. As members of Wales’s Blockchain Connected network, we are excited that this move will further enable us to connect with other leading tech companies – and help cement Cardiff’s place as a leading incubator for world-class innovation and technology.”

Gareth Lewis, CEO of Delio commented: “The reaction to the creation of the Campus cluster and the refurbishment of Windsor Place has been phenomenal. We wanted to cater for an underserved market in Cardiff – ambitious companies who wanted something a bit different from a traditional high-rise office building, whilst maintaining the freedom to work together in a creative and modern office space. We’re delighted to have welcomed like-minded members to the community who will not only generate jobs and contribute to the local economy but who will also inspire talent into the city.”
