St David’s Cardiff, Wales’ leading shopping and leisure destination, is set to welcome Puro Fit Food, a South Wales based healthy fast food brand, to the centre today (Friday 24th August).

The launch marks the first store for the Welsh brand, which began in 2017 when its founders spotted a gap in the market for fast food that supported a clean and healthy diet.

Puro Fit Food, which started out supplying pre-prepared meals and meal plans for top Welsh athletes, including undefeated professional boxer Kody Davies, offers customers tons of guilt free options, like the famous protein rich Rainbow Bagel. Other favourites from the brand include indulgent protein cheesecakes, nutritious ready meals, salads, wraps and snacks.

The kiosk, which will be located on the Lower Level Grande Arcade near The White Company, will provide numerous jobs for the local area, including both full time and part time employment.

Steven Madeley, general manager for St David’s Cardiff, commented:

“At St David’s we’re always keen to support Welsh brands, so we are thrilled to welcome the first Puro Fit Food store to the centre and to be able to offer our customers more healthy choices. It’s an exciting time for this new local brand and we know our customers are going to love it!”

Daniel Ludlow, co-founder of Puro Fit Food, said:

“Creating delicious but nutritious food has been a passion of ours for years and after supplying many top athletes, including players from Cardiff City Football team, MMA fighters and fitness models, we wanted to create something that was available to everyone! We are delighted to make our debut in St David’s and hope the people of Cardiff enjoy what we have to offer”.

St David’s has welcomed a number of exciting brands over the last year including Daniel Wellington, Stradivarius, Oliver Bonas and CK Underwear.
