An award-winning business school is returning to Bridgend County Borough, offering free support to entrepreneurs of the future.

The Rebel Business School, in partnership with Bridgend County Borough Council, will be delivering their popular course at the Halo Life Centre from the 20 – 24 March 2023.

The free course will help local start-ups throughout the county borough to get their ideas off the ground and existing businesses to grow.

A spokesperson for Rebel Business School said: “Since 2011, our courses have been showing a new way of thinking and practical ways to get your business idea off the ground without going into debt.

“We have helped over 17,000 people via our courses through partnerships with local housing associations and councils. Over the last few years, we have continually proved that starting a business has changed and needs to be taught differently.

“Whether you are at the beginning of your journey, an already established business or building your side hustle, our course will give you the information, inspiration and practical advice you need to get your idea off the ground.”

Each day of the course runs from 10am – 3pm and covers topics including how to start a business for free, sales and marketing, how to build a website with no money, finding customers on social media and the Rebel guide to the legal stuff.

This free course offers a brilliant opportunity for any budding entrepreneurs and existing business owners to get the information and knowledge they need to grow and thrive. With so much information out there about starting a business, it can often get overwhelming for people looking to bring their business idea to life; this course offers the best support and guidance available.

I would encourage anyone who has dreamt of making their passion a business, and those who have started out but need a bit of help, to really get off the ground to take advantage of this free event.

There have been so many enterprises that have benefitted from taking this course and I would highly recommend it to anyone, regardless of where they are in their business journey.

Councillor Neelo Farr, Cabinet Member for Regeneration

A free place on the course can be booked on the Rebel Business School website.
