Wrexham broadband provider launches new £1 standard tariff

YouFibre, which provides ultra-fast, reliable broadband to residents in Wrexham, has launched a new suite of standard pricing tariffs for all new customers, starting from only £1 a month.

The new tariff, which has been launched in response to the cost of living crisis, will see customers on YouFibre’s one Gigabit package paying just £1 for the first three months and £29.99 for the remainder of their 24 month contract. Plus, to offer customers complete peace-of-mind, the full fibre broadband provider has committed to a price freeze for 2023, meaning no surprise price hikes mid-contract.

The one Gigabit package, which is YouFibre’s standard package, offers speeds that are 20x faster than the current UK average. To put this into perspective, customers will be able to download an entire film in the time it takes to make a cup of tea.

YouFibre already provides broadband to around 22,000 homes and offices in the UK, with ambitious growth plans for 2023. The new tariff will be available to all new customers in Wrexham, offering residents the opportunity to access ultrafast and reliable broadband, supported by superb UK-based customer care.

Ryan Battle, Managing Director at YouFibre, comments: “The cost of living crisis has already taken a huge toll on families and businesses across the UK. With energy costs predicted to rise even further this year, we wanted to create tariffs that not only help alleviate the financial pressure of utility bills in the short-term, but remain competitive throughout the entire contract, with no nasty surprises.

“We believe that everyone in the UK deserves access to affordable, reliable, and ultrafast broadband and are so proud to be helping make this vision a reality for more households and businesses with our new £1 tariff.”

As well as reviewing pricing on its one Gigabit (1,000Mbps) product, YouFibre launched a social tariff in 2022 which aims to provide an accessible broadband price for vulnerable people and those living in social housing. Prices for the social tariff start from as little as £15 a month to further support the company’s mission to deliver affordable and accessible broadband to as many homes as possible.
