    Hollywood actor Ryan Reynolds, co-owner of Aviation Gin – voted the world’s highest rated gin – bought Wrexham AFC in 2020 with fellow Hollywood actor Rob McElhenney.
    Under the new ownership Wrexham AFC has gone from strength to strength. Over the weekend the Welsh club secured a win to promote them back into the Football League after an absence of 15 years.

    Ryan and  Rob McElhenney were there to watch the winning goal which secured the promotion and Reynolds told BBC Sport Wales that he felt ‘unadulterated joy’ at the final whistle.
