The Cardiff office of Clarke Willmott has appointed its first trainee solicitor as it continues its expansion as one of Wales’ fastest growing legal firms.

Dani Bowen (25), is now working to become a fully qualified solicitor in the banking, commercial property and corporate and commercial litigation sectors which she hopes to achieve by March 2020.

[aoa id=”1″]Having grown up in Thornhill in Cardiff, Dani studied law at Swansea University gaining a 2:1. She then did her Legal Practice Course (LPC) at Cardiff University before joining the highly respected practice as a banking and finance paralegal in March 2017.[/aoa]

The firm has now become the leading practice for those needing legal expertise across the commercial property, social housing, banking and finance, planning and construction sectors with the level and number of new instructions rising over the last 12 months.

    Dani said:

“Clarke Willmott is a national firm with an excellent reputation and I’m looking forward to the opportunity to develop my expertise and confidence while assisting the team and working towards qualifying as a solicitor.”

Partner Fraser MacRae, who heads the banking and finance team added:

“For us to now provide opportunities for the next generation of lawyers and solicitors to gain their full qualifications shows how far we have really come in the last three years and demonstrates how strong our position is as a leading legal firm in Cardiff and Wales. We wish Dani the very best as she works towards becoming fully qualified.

“We’ve got an established team here in the Cardiff office which has seen sustained growth in terms of clients and staff members and the expertise we have in all areas of the firm means we are well placed to deliver outstanding results.”
