The Cardiff office of Clarke Willmott LLP has appointed a new commercial property paralegal.

The new team member is Hannah Ferris and her arrival has taken the number of people working in the Cardiff office, which is headed by Vicky Kells, to 17.

Born and bred in Barry, Hannah graduated from the University of Reading in 2016 and worked for a local family law firm after her studies. She has now joined one of Cardiff’s fastest growing legal teams where she will support the property team while studying for her Legal Practice Course (LPC).

With the level of new instructions rising, the Cardiff office of Clarke Willmott has become the go-to firm for those needing legal expertise across the commercial property, social housing, banking and finance, planning and construction sectors.

    Hannah said:

“Clarke Willmott is a national firm which has lots of great clients which presents lots of opportunities. The firm also has in place fantastic training and development programmes which is a big attraction for someone like myself as I look to become a fully qualified solicitor.”

Vicky added: “We’ve had an exceptional 18 months and the appointment of Hannah shows how strong our position is as a leading legal firm in Cardiff and Wales. It’s also great to be able to appoint someone local and demonstrates our commitment to provide the next generation of lawyers the opportunity to get qualified and gain the relevant experience.

“The Welsh legal sector is in a healthy position and we’re now very well placed to provide the expert advice and guidance our clients are looking for.

“We’ve also invested in the very latest tech, which means flexibility in for both our clients as well as the team and means we are very competitive in terms of fees and productivity.”
