SOUTH Wales’ largest private hire operator, Veezu, is supporting Llandaff North RFC’s Under 8s team for the 2023/24 season.

The regional brand has funded the purchase of a full kit including tops, shorts and training tracksuits, as part of their support this season, with the Veezu logo proudly displayed.

Llandaff North RFC is a friendly community rugby club based in Cardiff. Their Hornets teams train from U7s up to U16s and are always welcoming new players.

Ryan Owen, Regional Director of Veezu, said: “Local community sports clubs are so important for providing young people with a safe place to exercise, have fun, and learn about sport. I am lucky enough that I have been able to see first-hand from my son’s participation what a positive and important club Llandaff North RFC is.

“Being able to offer our support to provide the Under 8s team a new kit so that every player can be part of the team, is a real honour for us and we are very much looking forward to continuing this positive partnership.”

The donation was made through the Funded by Veezu community support initiative. The programme is a way local residents, charities and sports teams can apply for funding and grants, set up to improve the communities in which Veezu operates.
