Wales’ premier event for the voluntary sector, gofod3, will see more than 500 staff, trustees and volunteers from across Wales come together at Cardiff City Stadium on Wednesday 5 June 2024.

The event will provide attendees with the opportunity to upskill, engage and discuss matters that are important to them – topics ranging from funding to health and well-being, social care to safeguarding and data protection.

Keynote speakers at this year’s event, which is being held in person for the first time since 2019, are:

    • Dr Lindsay Cordery-Bruce: the brand-new WCVA Chief Executive
    • Lesley Griffiths MS: Cabinet Secretary for Culture and Social Justice
    • Dr Helen Stephenson CBE: Outgoing and longest serving Charity Commission Chief Executive
    • Other notable figures: Welsh Language, Older People, and Future Generations Commissioners in Wales, and Deputy Children’s Commissioner

Speaking before the event, Dr Lindsay Cordery-Bruce, WCVA Chief Executive, said: ‘We’re delighted to be able to stage gofod3 once again in person during the 40th anniversary of Volunteers’ week.

‘Our volunteers play a huge, often unrecognised, role in society and this event allows those individuals, societies and organisation to come together, share best practice, learn from one another and raise issues that are important to them.’

In total there will be 55 exhibitors from across both the public and private sector at the event. For a full list of topics, sessions and exhibitors please visit here.
