We may not have seen the sun as much as we’d like this summer, but that’s more reason to find the perfect spot to soak up some rays when it does appear! Award-winning bar & restaurant The Botanist has unveiled its newly refurbished rooftop terrace, providing a summer escape right in the city centre.
The refit sees new design, layout, furniture and artwork along with the beautiful green foliage The Botanist is known for, giving it a secret summer escape feel.
And that’s not all, a brand-new pizza oven has also been installed, offering guests a quick, easy and fresh bite to eat as they soak up the summer and catch up with friends. The slow-proved and hand-stretched pizza dough is topped with San Marzano tomato sauce and fior di latte mozzarella. With prices starting from £12.25, diners can choose from Margherita, Vegan Roasted Vegetable, Goat’s Cheese and Pesto, Pepperoni and Ham and Mushroom toppings.
The Botanist’s talented bar team have also been busy, launching a completely new cocktail menu for summer, perfect for enjoying on the terrace. Showstopping photo-worthy serves include the Disco Fizz, with prosecco, lychee liqueur, Fever-Tree raspberry and orange blossom soda served with a raspberry ‘fizz bomb’, the Lilypad Martini, with Portobello Road Bergamot Citrus Vodka, peach liqueur, peach puree, apple and lemon juice, and the eponymous ‘The Botanist’ served in a botany boiling flask.
Every Friday and Saturday throughout the summer, The Botanist’s DJs will provide the soundtrack to the weekend on the terrace, and itssummer music festival, The Botanist LIVE Festival, will be taking over the rooftop space on Saturday 27th July and Sunday 25th August.
