Scarlett Jack Hairaitage Founder Anastasia Cameron joins forces with Lisa Brown owner of Pinkspiration and Lime Green, a leading plumbing and fireplace specialist in Cardiff, to launch a business community led a breast cancer awareness campaign.

During October’s breast cancer awareness month, Scarlett Jack Hairaitage a specialist clinic and salon dedicated to hair loss solutions for adults and children has turned pink to raise awareness about breast cancer, whilst supporting charities such as Tenovus, and Breast Cancer Now in their campaigns.

Over the course of such a hugely important month for breast cancer, Scarlett Jack Hairaitage created its very own t-shirt line with all proceeds going towards breast cancer support. Scarlett Jack Hairaitage has also donated a wig to a lady who is currently undergoing chemotherapy treatment.

Anastasia Cameron said “As a breast cancer survivor this is an incredibly personal thing for me. To be able to raise funds to defeat a condition that I have been thankful to overcome, is something that touches my soul. My business is focused on helping those with this condition and I have a deep understanding and empathy for everything that fellow breast cancer survivors are going through. Teaming up with Lime Green and Pinkspiration to drive forward this campaign is something that I am tremendously proud of. Being able to donate a wig to a very brave lady that is currently undergoing chemotherapy means more than anything to me. I know exactly what her journey is, and to be able to offer a small bit of comfort and normality is something very precious to me.”

Recipient’s Statement “Back in March 2024 I got diagnosed with breast cancer and only being 30 it came as a total shock. Mastectomy with reconstruction was to be had first to investigate the stage of cancer. 4 lymph nodes were also taken, with 1 coming back positive for cancer. Later I was diagnosed with a rare form of hereditary ATM gene, meaning that I would have to start chemotherapy. This really scared me with the thought of losing my hair, because no matter what your going through having hair you can hide so much as you would with a smile and no one would know, but once it’s gone it’s like your safe place is taken from you and everybody knows that you’re going through a hard time, and to me this was my worst nightmare. Luckily, I found Scarlett Jack Harititage on a leaflet Velindre gave me to help with the funding towards a wig. We finally met and what can I say, such a lovely woman. Everything was a breeze; Anastasia went above and beyond for me. We tried on so many different types and styles with Anastasia making it a fun experience to find the right fit for me. Then she said she would happily donate a custom wig to me. It was such a shock how someone could be so amazing for someone they had just met I couldn’t believe my luck. I got very emotional understanding that I could finally get my confidence back and my security. I cannot put into words how extremely grateful I am to Anastasia I owe this woman the world.”

Over the coming year Scarlett Jack Hairaitage is looking to turn more businesses pink and show the world that Wales and its business community are leading from the front.
