Popham Kidney Support, the Swansea based kidney charity, has announced the date of its marquee fundraising event – The Popham Kidney Support Summer Soiree, taking place Friday, July 4, 2025, at the Village Hotel, Swansea.

As a highly respected charity within the local community, over 100 guests are expected to attend the Soiree, including supporters of the charity and businesses who have been affiliated with the charity since its inception in 2013.

The event promises to be an evening full of entertainment, with Karl Morgan, the lead singer of Who’s Molly, delivering a live performance, esteemed TV presenter, Sian Lloyd, as host, and Swansea legend, Kev Johns, serving as skilled auctioneer. Additionally, guests will indulge in a delicious three-course meal followed by a fun packed evening.

Popham Kidney Support is calling on businesses to sponsor the event by purchasing one of the charity’s sponsorship packages. The event offers four sponsorship tiers — Platinum, Gold, Silver, and Bronze, providing valuable brand exposure and networking opportunities, while supporting this vital charity. All packages include 10 event tickets, in-event branding, promotional material placement in gift bags, and access to professional event photos.

Platinum sponsors will receive the highest visibility as headline sponsors, with a full-page programme advert, a PR photo opportunity, social media recognition, and inclusion in pre- and post-event publicity. Gold sponsors benefit from a half-page advert, prominent brand placement, and a sponsorship stand in the main ballroom. Silver sponsors gain branding on presentation screens and a stand in the foyer, while Bronze sponsors can sponsor a table, receiving programme recognition and a compere announcement.

Funds raised through sponsorship and Soirée activities, will help Popham Kidney Support continue to provide vital aid to children, youth, and adults affected by kidney disease in Wales, improving their quality of life.

Building on the success of September’s Awards Dinner, Popham Kidney Support is encouraging businesses to get involved and attend the upcoming Summer Soirée to make a meaningful impact.

Joanne Popham, Popham Kidney Support CEO, said:

“We are absolutely thrilled to announce our upcoming Summer Soiree, something different for 2025 while supporting our cause, and this is your chance to be part of something truly extraordinary!

“Join us for a night filled with entertainment, community, and purpose as we come together to make a real impact within our kidney community. Tickets are available now —don’t miss out on an unforgettable evening. Let’s make a difference together — we can’t wait to see you there!”
