Wales Women have named a 44-player squad for an unprecedented autumn series at Cardiff Arms Park, with twenty of the players uncapped, complementing a core of senior players.

On the news that fourteen past and present students have received the call up to the national side, Cardiff Met Deputy Director of Sport, Owen Rodgers, said:

“I’m absolutely delighted that so many of our past and present students will have the opportunity to play for their country in the upcoming series.

“Cardiff Met continues to produce players of the highest calibre, and this announcement shows just how successful the programme here at the University is, with such a big representation within the team from our students.

“We’re looking forward to seeing the side play this autumn and I’m certain that all players will make a positive contribution to the squad.”
