Chambers Wales South East, South West and Mid announced the winners of the Wales Business Awards 2025 at a ceremony at Holland House Hotel, Cardiff.

Businesses and organisations from across Wales came together to celebrate their achievements and successes at the ceremony hosted by broadcaster Andrea Byrne.

12 winners were crowned across 12 categories, with one of the lucky winners also being awarded Wales Business of the Year 2025 by headline sponsor Bevan Buckland LLP.

Pontyclun-based manufacturer of geosynthetic solutions for civil engineering applications Concrete Canvas Ltd enjoyed success on the night, winning not only the Global Business of the Year Award 2025 but also Wales Business of the Year.

The firm exports 90% of its products worldwide and demonstrated ambitious growth plans to expand into new markets and further develop its innovative product range, reinforcing Wales’ reputation as a hub for cutting-edge, sustainable solutions.

Peter Brewin, Director at Concrete Canvas, said: “We are truly honoured and thrilled to have been recognised at the Wales Business Awards. You can see what a team effort this has been, and the work from our employees this year in such a challenging environment has been unmatched. The past year has been an exciting journey for us – we have introduced new technologies, working in 90 countries and we are proud to say that 85% of our turnover this year has been through international exports.

Will Crawford, Director at Concrete Canvas said: “It is such a huge honour to be recognised for both Global Business of the Year and Wales Business of the Year, especially when surrounded by such incredible and impactful Welsh businesses. This is a tribute to our team, without their hard work none of this would be possible. This evening has proven the power of Welsh businesses, and how we can be a challenging force in exporting globally with the number of businesses here tonight.”

Other winners on the night included Celtic English Academy, Educ8 Group, FleetEV, Landsker Business Solutions, Nanopharm, PeoplePlus, Rockwool Ltd, Safran Seats GB, Simply Do Ideas, Tyre Glider Ltd and Wales Millennium Centre.

Gus Williams, interim CEO at Chambers Wales South East, South West and Mid, said: “The Wales Business Awards celebrate the very best of Welsh business, recognising those leading their sectors in key areas such as trade, sustainability and innovation, and positively contributing to the Welsh economic landscape.

“We’d like to congratulate all of our incredible winners, as well as our worthy finalists.”
