    Santa’s Toy Mine returns to Rhondda Heritage Park Museum

    Santa’s Toy Mine is making a magical return to Rhondda Heritage Park Museum this festive season.

    The much-loved Christmas attraction invites families to step into a winter wonderland and experience the magic of the underground grotto. Visitors will journey through the festive mine, meeting Santa and his helpers along the way, before receiving a special gift.

    Santa’s Toy Mine has become a seasonal favourite in the South Wales valleys, attracting families from near and far for an unforgettable Christmas experience.

    The event promises plenty of festive fun for children and adults alike, with sparkling decorations, cheerful elves, and a chance to make treasured memories at the historic heritage site.

    Dates & times:

    • Main event: 19 November – 23 December, 10am–8pm

    • Christmas Eve: 24 December, 9am–3pm

    • ALN sessions: 8–9 December, 4pm–6pm

    • Story Time with Santa (English, Welsh and ALN): Weekdays, 24 November – 18 December, 3pm

    Tickets on sale:

    • From 9am on Wednesday 10 September via the Rhondda Heritage Park Museum ticket portal.

    Prices:

    • General admission (ages 4+ and adults): £13.50

    • Children 0–18 months: £6.00

    • Premium times (19–24 December): £15.00 (ages 4+ and adults); £8.00 (0–18 months)

    • Booking fee: £1.00 per booking

    • Story Time with Santa: £6 per child; £3 per adult

    • School tours (weekdays 10am–2pm): £10.50 per child; £5.50 per accompanying adult; one free teacher per 10 children (book via 01443 682036)

    Rhondda Heritage Park says this year’s experience includes new Story Time with Santa sessions and quieter ALN options, ensuring more families can enjoy the festive magic.
