With this acquisition, Moka United expands its global reach and strengthens its digital banking journey, taking a major step in its international expansion.

Moka United has successfully completed its acquisition o Affiniture Cards Limited, a UK regulated payment institution, after securing approval from the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA). This milestone marks a pivotal step in Moka United’s global growth strategy and accelerates its digital banking journey under the RUUT brand.

The acquisition strengthens Moka United’s international footprint, equipping the company with a more agile and inclusive business model across the UK and beyond. Affiniture Cards Limited, which holds the UK franchise for Diners Club International, provides Moka United with direct access to a prestigious global payments network.

“An International Recognition of Our Credibility”

Halim Memiş, CEO of Moka United, commented:

“This acquisition is more than just a regulatory checkpoint; it is a global recognition of our fintech expertise and credibility. At Moka United, our mission has always been to push the boundaries of digital banking by delivering secure, fast, and user-focused solutions. With RUUT, we are shaping a future where financial access is more open and inclusive.

The UK, with its vibrant and forward-looking fintech ecosystem, offers us not only a gateway to Europe and global markets but also a place where innovation and trust go hand in hand. It is here that we see the opportunity to scale our vision, build meaningful partnerships, and contribute to an ecosystem that inspires the future of global finance.”

Jonathan Back, CEO of Affiniture Cards Limited, added that “the UK, renowned for its dynamic financial ecosystem, serves as an ideal foundation for Moka United’s international expansion. The country’s position as a global financial hub not only facilitates easier access to European and international markets but also provides a well-regulated environment that is conducive to fintech innovation and growth. Diners Club International approved the acquisition of Affiniture Cards Limited last September and as such, Moka United now also joins an international family of franchises with access to a unique globally recognised payment network”.

Moka United now aims to expand its digital banking offerings, democratize financial access, and provide next-generation financial solutions to both corporate and individual users. Carrying its success story from Türkiye into global markets, the company is poised to lead the sector with its innovative products, AI-supported infrastructure, and inclusive service approach.
