This October, Rhondda Heritage Park Museum once again transforms into a frightfully fun haunt for families with the return of its fang-tastic Halloween Spooktacular event! Set in the heart of Trehafod, the popular tourist attraction is gearing up for two days of eerie excitement and ghoulish giggles.

Tickets are now on sale, giving families the chance to secure their spot before they vanish into the mist.

What’s New in 2025? The thrills are even bigger this year, with brand-new twilight sessions bringing fire breathers and performers as the abandoned circus arrives!

Each Child’s Ticket Includes 7 Spooky Experiences:

    • Pumpkin Patch Picking: Wander through our perfect patch to choose your very own pumpkin to take home and carve.

    • Halloween Hunt: Search for hidden spooks around the museum, collect stamps, and earn a treat… or a trick!

    • Halloween Show: Enjoy an all-new performance packed with spooky fun.

    • Crafty Creations: Make eerie art in hands-on Halloween workshops.

    • Spooky Photo Spots: Snap ghostly selfies at our creepy photo stations.

    • The Abandoned Mine: Venture underground to meet singing skeletons and more! Patch the Pumpkin will be waiting to say hello!

    • Fang-tastic Fun Fair: Hop aboard two classic kids’ rides—ideal for your little monsters.

Twilight Sessions: Our brand-new twilight sessions include all of the above PLUS entertainment from the abandoned circus… see fire breathers and more!

Councillor Bob Harris, Rhondda Cynon Taf Council’s Cabinet Member for Public Health and Communities said:

“Rhondda Heritage Park Museum delivers a memorable experience all year round, thanks to its underground tours, compelling exhibitions, and varied events. But when Halloween Spooktacular starts, the venue takes on an extra layer of magic and mystery.

Last year’s colourful Abandoned Mine, home to its very own pumpkin called Patch—captivated families with its spooky surprises at every turn. This October, there are even more thrills in store, with the arrival of a troupe from the abandoned circus for the all-new 6pm – 8pm twilight sessions. Expect fire eaters, eerie entertainers, and spine-tingling performances that bring the haunted atmosphere to life after dark.”

Tickets are limited and expected to sell quickly. Families are encouraged to book early online at https://orlo.uk/zog1q to avoid missing out.

Whether visiting for daytime delights or twilight frights, a ticket to Rhondda Heritage Park Museum always promises a packed programme of activities and family fun.
