Disney On Ice is skating back into Cardiff this week, bringing a spectacular family show packed with beloved characters, music and breathtaking ice skating.

Disney On Ice presents Into The Magic will glide into the Utilita Arena Cardiff from March 12 to 15, inviting families to step into a world of adventure and imagination inspired by some of Disney’s most popular stories.

Hosted by Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse, the action packed show takes audiences on a magical journey across raging seas, snow covered mountains and even the colourful Marigold Bridge. The production features favourite Disney characters from Moana, Frozen, Coco, Beauty and the Beast, Tangled and Cinderella.

The show includes a high sea adventure as Moana sets sail to save her island with help from the demigod Maui, with the ice transformed into a vast oceanic landscape. Fans will also travel across the Marigold Bridge with Miguel from Disney Pixar’s Coco into the vibrant Land of the Dead for a colourful celebration of family.

Other magical moments include Belle stepping into the spotlight in scenes from Beauty and the Beast, as well as appearances from Anna and Elsa from Frozen, Rapunzel and Flynn from Tangled, and Cinderella, each inspiring audiences to believe in their inner hero.

Disney On Ice is known for its large scale productions, with the world class cast completing more than 550 hours of rehearsal to perfect the show. Behind the scenes, more than 213 costumes and around 180 props are used, with over 1,200 yards of fabric creating the dazzling outfits worn by performers.

The touring production travels between cities in 14 trucks, with each set taking around 12 hours to build before audiences arrive.

After its Cardiff run, Disney On Ice presents Into The Magic will continue its UK tour with performances in Glasgow from March 19 to 22 and London from March 25 to 29.

Tickets and show information for the Cardiff performances are available via the Utilita Arena Cardiff website.
