    Located on Hinton Road, the new Bournemouth branch – the first of Acorn’s in Dorset and one of 38 branches across the UK – opened in November due to employer demand. The team provides specialist permanent and temporary recruitment support within thriving sectors in the area including commercial and administrative office support, industrial, manufacturing and driving.

    Leading the way is branch manager Amy Redsell, supported by Bournemouth local Ellee Williams in the role of Account Coordinator.

    Amy, 30, holds ten years’ experience as a recruitment specialist and said;

    “I’ve recently returned to the area from Australia where I was a specialist recruiter for the accountancy and finance sector, and jumped at the chance to help launch an Acorn branch in Bournemouth.

    “My focus will be on making sure the right people are placed in the right roles across the Dorset area, and supporting key projects planned around the UK, particularly in commercial office and industrial support.

    “We’re excited to work with businesses in and around Bournemouth – building on existing relationships and developing new ones with local employers who have their own strategic growth plans and need the right permanent and temporary staff to support them.”

    Matt Hastie, Commercial Development Manager for Acorn said;

    “We’re thrilled that our Bournemouth branch is expanding already, with our new team members building on our already strong presence across the south west of 12 locations.

    “Amy’s vast recruitment experience and commitment to the role makes her the perfect fit for the demanding but rewarding position of branch manager, and I’m confident that both Amy and Ellee will continue to build on our excellent reputation as one of the UK’s leading recruitment specialists.”

    Established in 1992, Acorn are specialists in a number of areas, including Accountancy & Finance, IT & Digital, Commercial, Executive Search, Legal, Construction, Mechanical & Engineering, Technical & Engineering, Nursing & Healthcare, Nuclear, Oil & Gas and Driving & Logistics.
