Police searching for missing Tonypandy man Steven Faulkner have confirmed that a body has been found.
The 66-year-old had been missing from his home since Friday, May 23, prompting an extensive search involving officers and specialist resources.
In an update issued last night, police confirmed that a body had been located during the search operation.
Steven’s family has been informed.
Formal identification has not yet been confirmed, however the death is not being treated as suspicious.
The discovery brings a sad end to the search for Steven, whose disappearance prompted widespread concern across the local community and numerous public appeals for information.
