One of the UK’s largest insurance brokers, Howden, has officially launched its commercial offering in North Wales with the appointment of Nathan Brookfield as Account Executive.
This marks an important milestone in the growth of Howden’s Commercial team, reinforcing its continued investment in Wales and commitment to supporting regional business growth.
This new presence will enable Howden to work more closely with commercial clients across North Wales, delivering tailored insurance advice and risk management solutions to businesses in the region.
Nathan Brookfield joins from Lothbury UK Ltd, where he held a similar role. Based in Wrexham, he will support commercial clients across the surrounding area advising on insurance programmes and helping them navigate risk with confidence.
In his new role, Nathan will build lasting relationships with commercial clients across North Wales, while contributing to Howden’s regional growth ambitions. A key part of his role will involve developing new business opportunities and helping ambitious commercial clients access Howden’s full range of insurance and risk management solutions.
On his appointment, Nathan said: “I am thrilled to be a part of Howden’s commercial expansion into North Wales. The company’s strong market reputation, its employee ownership model and UK roots were all key factors in my decision to join the team. The opportunity to be part of a business that is actively investing and building its presence in Wrexham and North Wales was particularly appealing.
“Having grown up in Wrexham, it’s also important to me that I play a part in supporting local businesses and help drive the continued growth of the local economy.”
Gary Stevens, Regional Managing Director – Commercial (Wales), Howden, added:
“Expanding our commercial presence in North Wales is a key priority for Howden, and Nathan’s appointment is an important step in delivering that ambition. He is a wonderful addition to the team. His experience, combined with strong local knowledge, will be instrumental in building lasting relationships with clients across the region.
“I am especially proud of the progress we’ve made in strengthening our presence across Wales. With North Wales playing a central role in our growth strategy, I look forward to the opportunities ahead for our expanding team.”
