Cardiff Castle was packed with pop punk anthems and singalong favourites as Bowling For Soup and Frank Turner & The Sleeping Souls delivered a huge co headline show as part of TK Maxx presents Depot Live at Cardiff Castle.
Long time friends and two genre defying acts, both bands brought high energy performances to the historic venue, entertaining a packed crowd with an evening full of fan favourites.

Frank Turner & The Sleeping Souls opened the headline performances with a powerful set featuring I Still Believe, Photosynthesis, 1933, Recovery and a rousing finale of Four Simple Words.

Bowling For Soup then took to the stage, opening with Almost before racing through crowd favourites High School Never Ends, Ohio (Come Back to Texas) and Today Is Gonna Be A Great Day, better known to many as the theme song to Disney’s Phineas and Ferb.
Following a huge castle wide singalong to Stacy’s Mom, the Texan pop punk favourites closed the night with Girl All The Bad Guys Want and 1985.

Alternative rock band American Hi Fi got the evening underway, warming up the crowd ahead of another memorable night inside the castle walls.
The concert marks another milestone in what is a record breaking summer for TK Maxx presents Depot Live at Cardiff Castle, with 24 headline shows taking place across the 2026 season.
There is still plenty to come over the coming weeks, with another packed programme featuring some of the biggest names in music.
Billy Ocean headlines on Thursday, followed by Bastille on Friday and David Gray on Saturday.
Later this month, music fans can also look forward to performances from Richard Ashcroft, Sammy Virji, Self Esteem, The Wombats and Sugababes as part of Depot in the Castle, David Byrne, Biffy Clyro and The Streets.
The summer series continues into August with shows from Sex Pistols, The Stranglers, The Undertones, Panic Shack, Two Door Cinema Club, Friendly Fires, Hollywood Vampires, Jimmy Eat World, Rise Against, The Get Up Kids and Jay Som, bringing the record breaking concert season to a close.
