THE growth of an executive recruitment business continues with the arrival of a new consultant.

Just weeks after opening an office at the £20m Menai Science Park on Anglesey, S2 Recruitment has welcomed Jack Such into the fold.

The 22 year-old graduated from Salford University with a Marketing degree and worked for a top Manchester jobs agency before “falling in love” with recruitment.

He moved to North Wales with his family to pursue opportunities in the sector and completed a Masters in Business Administration (MBA) before accepting a permanent role with S2, part of the Colwyn Bay and Bangor-based Supertemps Group.

Focused on IT, engineering and executive positions, S2 Recruitment is ploughing a furrow as one of the leading independent recruiters in North Wales.

Now living in Conwy, Jack has already settled in and believes the company’s positive culture is winning new custom in a candidate-driven market.

“It was a big shift moving from the city to the seaside but I’ve enjoyed every second of it and feel happy and very much part of the team at S2 Recruitment,” he said.

“The business landscape in this area is growing and I am already seeing a rich mix of industries right here on our doorstep.

“Many already work closely with S2 and I look forward to exploring these fields and the region to see how we can support them as they look to fill a variety of roles.

“IT is a particular specialism of mine as I’ve experience in ecommerce and digital technology. There is a huge demand in that sector and S2 identified that many workers in different fields and the public sector have skills and knowledge transferable to these types of careers in the private sector.”

He added: “I may be young in age but I’ve several years behind me in marketing and recruitment and look forward to bringing a fresh outlook from my time in Manchester that should benefit the company.”
Jack joins Business Manager Sian Shepherd and Recruitment Consultant Kate Humphreys in driving S2 forward into the new year.

Having a presence on Anglesey gives them a base in the heartland of business and engineering in north west Wales, ahead of huge developments on the island such as Wylfa Newydd and Holyhead Port.

Managing Director Sarah Ellwood welcomed Jack and said his arrival will help them to push on further in 2019.

“S2 Recruitment has grown this year and really made a mark in the sectors we are targeting,” said Sarah.

“Jack is already a key part of the team and will play a vital role as we look to grow further and build relationships with new clients at executive and senior management level over the coming months.”
