With Carmarthenshire and Pembrokeshire still very much a dairy farming stronghold, local farmers are being encouraged to attend a poultry meeting in Carmarthen later this month, organised by Wynnstay, to discuss farm diversification options and in particular poultry production, with local experts.

Roger Parry & Partners are joining forces with Wynnstay to hold the meeting at the Ivy Bush Hotel on Thursday, 26 April 2018, from 7pm with refreshments provided. Representatives from HSBC, Potters Poultry, Stonegate and a farmer who has already diversified, will also be present to give advice.

The Poultry Event will give local farmers the opportunity to learn more if they are interested in diversifying into poultry production. Gail Lewis, Consultant from Roger Parry & Partners’ Carmarthenshire office and Gerallt Davies, one of Roger Parry & Partners’ planning experts, will be available to speak and offer advice throughout the event.

    Gail Lewis said,

“The poor economy and uncertainty after Brexit has hit rural businesses and many are having to think outside the box to survive. Diversification projects have become increasingly common. With the right advice, what started as an idea over a cup of coffee can become a feasible and achievable business venture. We have a team of professionals who are able to offer independent advice and who enjoy achieving success for clients.

“We have sound local knowledge and make sure that we are at the cutting edge of government policy to ensure that our advice will always keep clients at the forefront of the planning process and grant availability.”

For more details on the event please visit the Wynnstay website: www.wynnstay.co.uk. You will need to book your place for the event by 12 April. Telephone: 01691 827136 or email: [email protected].
