    The schools in Cardiff open and closed due to the snow

    With many parts of the UK experiencing snow showers overnight, some schools across Cardiff will remain closed on Friday 1st February 2019.

    Although, Cardiff missed out on the brunt of the snow, drivers and pedestrians are advised to take care and be mindful of snow and icy patches.

    As of 7:20am this morning, the schools currently closed in Cardiff are:

    • Cathays High School
    • Eastern High
    • Gabalfa Primary School
    • Green hill School
    • Llysfaen Primary School
    • Meadowbank School
    • Meadowlane Primary School
    • Pen-Y-Bryn Primary School
    • Riverbank School
    • Rumney Primary School
    • St Illtyd’s Catholic High School
    • St John Lloyd R.C Primary School
    • St Mellons C.W Primary School
    • The Court School
    • The Hollies School
    • Ton-Yr-Ywen Primary School
    • Trelai Primary School
    • Ty Gwyn School
    • Willowbrook Primary School
    • Woodlands High School
