WELSH aluminium fabricator, Dudley’s Aluminium, has welcomed an additional member to the team, as the fabricator’s mark on the industry continues to grow.

Dave Ramsay will join Dudley’s Aluminium as their new Installations Manager, supporting the Cardiff-based team in a new series of projects.

Dave has worked in the industry for over 30 years and has become an expert in the commercial glazing sector. Previously, he has managed the installation of glazing packages on large-scale construction projects in London as well as some landmark buildings around the UK.

In his new role Dave will maintain the wide variety of installations the Welsh aluminium fabricator offers, involving state-of-the-art curtain walling systems. As an Installations Manager, he will liaise closely with sub-contract installers and oversee the smooth running of daily on-site activities, whilst maintaining high-quality health and safety expectations.

Dave said: “I have seen Dudley’s Aluminium grow over the years to become the market leader within the region. They’ve played a significant part in shaping Cardiff’s city centre and I am very excited to be a part of this well-established company and I look forward to working on innovative projects, like the Taff Vale Redevelopment in Pontypridd town centre, which will benefit the local communities.”

Dudley’s managing director Colin Shorney said: “We are proud to have an expert like Dave join our team and take our work to the next level. I am confident that Dave will become an integral part of our team, continuing the high-quality standards Dudley’s has consistently committed itself to exceeding.”

Over the last years Dudley’s Aluminium has worked on a number of local and national projects that helped define the Cardiff Capital Region, most notably the Central Square developments, including the new BBC Wales studios.
