    New conveyancing solicitor appointed to leading Cardiff legal firm

    A conveyancing specialist who has quickly made her mark on Cardiff’s legal industry is “thrilled” to be joining renowned city firm CJCH Solicitors.

    Lauren Powell has been appointed to the role of conveyancing solicitor at the growing Cardiff firm, which specialises in criminal law, family law, public sector law, and commercial property law.

    The 26-year-old joins the firm from Devonalds Solicitors where she headed up the conveyancing department at the firm’s Pontypridd office.

     

    [/aoa]While there she acquired experience in managing freehold and leasehold sale and purchase transactions, re-mortgages, new build properties, probate and auction sales, and drafting new leases for commercial landlords.

    On her appointment to award-winning city firm CJCH Solicitors, the Cardiff Law School graduate said she looked forward to undertaking this “exciting new challenge”.

    She said: “I am thrilled to have been appointed to the industry renowned conveyancing team at CJCH Solicitors and to take this next step in my career.

    “I have been watching the firm’s progress and growth over the past few years and I am relishing this exciting new challenge ahead of me.

    “I look forward to working with the fantastic conveyancing team and management at CJCH Solicitors which have really set themselves apart as leaders within Wales’ legal industry thanks to their innovative and specialist approach.

    “I’d like to thank CJCH for this opportunity and I look forward to what lies ahead in 2019.”

    On her appointment Managing Partner Tim Hartland at CJCH Solicitors, which has been named one of the top 20 legal firms in Wales, said they were excited to see what Miss Powell would bring to the department.

    Mr Hartland said: “We are delighted to welcome Lauren to the conveyancing team at CJCH and seeing how her impressive skills and experience can add to the department’s continued growth.

    “We have been extremely impressed with the vast level of knowledge she has acquired across the field of conveyancing so far, and also the professionalism and leadership qualities she has demonstrated so early in her career.
