IT and communications firm SA1 Solutions has hired two new employees as the company seeks to boost its support team with fresh talent.

The Swansea-based company has recently appointed Liam Watson as an apprentice IT support engineer and Matthew Williams as a graduate IT support engineer.

[aoa id=”1″]Watson, originally from Scotland, moved to South Wales to further develop his IT career. He has solid experience in troubleshooting, optimisation and maintenance in many different Windows operating systems and network issues. Coupled with several years’ experience in customer service, his new role within SA1 Solutions’ support team will offer customers an enhanced service. It will also allow Watson to further his skills through on-the-job training by SA1 Solutions’ professional engineers and offsite training delivered by Swansea ITeC. [/aoa]

Williams recently graduated from Portsmouth University with a degree in Computer Networks and is now a part of SA1 Solutions’ second line support team. His role will involve supporting the company’s customers with day-to-day technical issues, while working alongside SA1 Solutions’ server team to enable him to develop his expertise in this area.

Simon Ahearne, manging director at SA1 Solutions, said:

“We’re very pleased to have Liam and Matthew amongst our growing team. They both come with a wide range of experience in many areas of IT and we are eager to use their skills and knowledge to further diversify our offering.

“We are very proud of the efforts we put in to welcoming fresh talent at the company. It is important to us that junior team members are offered many opportunities to develop so that they can embrace a solid career path. Our on-board training will help Liam and Matthew to build upon their skills base and having quickly become valued members of the team, I have no doubt they will be successful.”
