Technology innovation agency, Inition, has been bought by Digital Communication Group Ltd. The virtual and augmented reality specialists have worked on projects across the globe including a vertigo virtual reality height project at London’s The Shard.

With a demo studio in Shoreditch, London, the agency has developed interactive technology that is looking to shape the future. The deal is part of Digital Communication Group’s expansion into new and innovative technology.

Cardiff-based commercial law firm Darwin Gray’s Stephen Thompson and Tegen Quinn acted on behalf of the buyer together with accountancy firm, Kilsby Williams LLP.

International law firm Pinsent Masons’ Russell Booker and Finlay Fraser acted on behalf of the seller.

Chairman of Digital Communication Group, Abdul Bakhrani said

“Through the creation of its London group headquarters and the acquisition of Inition we are creating the foundation for a Digital Communication Group expansion across new geographies and technologies to provide our corporate and entertainment partners with innovative content and solutions for their businesses”
