First snap of the brand-new inflatable Aqua Park coming to Cardiff Bay this month has been released, teasing visitors with a glimpse of what can be expected when the biggest aqua park in Wales splashes down on 29th June.

Aqua Park Cardiff will span 8000 square metres and feature 70 exciting obstacles for visitors to take on during their aqua park challenge. Located on the Barrage at Cardiff Bay, visitors can bring the whole family along including children over six and splash out for a family fun day out, the perfect alternative to a summer office party or as an end of season celebration for sports teams.

[aoa id=”1″]The park will include wild new obstacles such as the Jungle Jim, Walk on Water, Freefall Extreme, Thunderdome, Blast Bags, Monkey Dome, Summit and The Tornado Tower where visitors can show off their flips and tricks. It’s sure to create plenty of epic fails and total wipeouts; as visitors slip, slide, climb and chute their way around the inflatables.[/aoa]

Simon James, Director of Aqua Park Cardiff said:

“We’re really looking forward to opening the park to the public this summer for a season to remember. Revealing the layout is exciting and we can’t wait for everyone to join us on a super-soaking adventure. I would definitely recommend booking early to avoid missing out.”

Aqua Park Cardiff will be open from 29th June and run sessions until 8th September. Tickets for the park are priced at £20 for a 50-minute session and can be booked on the Aqua Park Cardiff website.

As an active attraction, visitors to Aqua Park Cardiff need to be ready for the physical challenge and must be aged six and over, 1.2m tall and able to swim 25 metres unaided in a buoyancy vest to take part. Buoyancy vests are provided, and wetsuits are included in the ticket price.
