    Cardiff-based lawyer scoops Lawyer of the Year award

    Blake Morgan LLP’s Siân Jones has won the award for Litigation Lawyer of the Year in Cardiff at the Best Lawyers in the UK awards 2020, as ranked by her fellow peers.

    The Best Lawyers awards are the oldest peer review awards in the legal industry and are highly regarded by clients and legal professionals.

    The lists of outstanding lawyers are compiled by conducting peer review surveys in which tens of thousands of leading lawyers confidentially evaluate their professional peers.

    Siân Jones

    Siân is a partner in the Blake Morgan dispute resolution team and is a specialist in property litigation and residential landlord and tenant disputesDescribed by the Legal 500 as a “very well-known” property litigator, she has wealth of experience in the social housing and health and social care sectors.

    Three other Blake Morgan lawyers – Simon Burge, Max Craft and Susie Dryden – scooped the ‘Lawyer of the Year’ award in their respective fields. As well as the four winners, more than 40 Blake Morgan lawyers have been listed as outstanding lawyers in a wide range of fields including Banking & Finance, Construction, Clinical Negligence, Employment and Intellectual Property among others.

    Head of Blake Morgan in Wales, Eve Piffaretti, said:
