    What we know about the police incident in Splott

    Emergency services have been in attendance at an address on Aberystwyth Street in the Splott area of Cardiff following the discovery of the body of a 50 year-old man which was reported at around 9.20am yesterday morning.

    South Wales Police can confirm the death is not considered suspicious.

    Next of kin have been informed and a file of evidence is being prepared for H M Coroner.

    The fire service attended as a precaution to ensure the property is safe for investigators to gain access.

    South Wales Police wishes to thank local residents for their patience while the emergency services conducted an investigation into this incident.
