10-year-oldĀ Tatiani Allen has never had a haircut in her life, but she’s about to have it all cut off for charity.

In four weeks time, Tatiani will have her hair cut off, which will then be donated to theĀ Little Princess Trust, where she hopes it will be enough to make two wigs for children who have cancer.

The Little Princess TrustĀ is a UK charity, which supplies and funds high quality wigs made of real hair to children who have hair loss as a result of cancer treatment or other illnesses.

TatianiĀ lost her dad to cancer 8 months ago and wants to do something special to help those going through a similar experience.

In addition to donating her 10-years worth of hair, Tatiani has set-up a Just Giving page for donations of support. It has already smashed the Ā£470 target by 26%, but people are being encouraged to keep giving Ā –Ā https://www.justgiving.com/fundraising/anna-allen4Ā

In Tatiani’s Just Giving page, she says:

“I am 10 years old and I have lost my daddy to cancer 8 months ago and it was horrible to see him go through cancer and I think it must be even more horrible for chidren to go through cancer. I have very long hair and it will probably be enough for two wigs to make children a little happier.”

    Anna Allen, Tatiani’s mother, added:

“Tatiani’s hair is her pride, but she is happy to do it for these children. Her two brothers, sister and myself are bursting with pride for her. I am sure her daddy is proud of her too up with the angels.”

Helen Creese from the Little Princess Trust said:

“We are absolutely delighted to hear that Tatiani is going to donate her beautiful long hair to the Little Princess Trust! It’s such a brave decision to cut off a lot of hair but we are hugely grateful as we can use these donated locks to make real hair wigs for children and young people who have lost their own hair as a result of cancer or other medical conditions.

“Receiving a wig has a profoundly positive effect on those we assist. Thank you so much, Tatiani, for thinking of others – we think you are incredibly brave, generous and kind.”
