One of the UK’s leading independent insurance brokers has expanded its Swansea team with a key new appointment.

Towergate Insurance Brokers has welcomed Jeff Partridge as a Commercial Development Executive, whose focus will be providing insurance solutions to an array of clients across the South and West Wales region.

Jeff brings over 25 years of experience with him, working with some of the South Wales’ premier businesses. He developed his skills firstly as an underwriter with AXA Insurance and latterly as a Director in the business insurance team at Thomas Carroll. His clients range from large construction, manufacturing and distribution risks to those based in sports and leisure, reflecting his personal interests.

Jeff completes Iron Man UK 2018

Jeff is a keen runner and triathlete, this year successfully completing Ironman Wales, amongst other extreme events. Through this passion, Jeff has raised thousands for the charities he supports.

Jeff said: “Having worked with Gary Stevens, Area Managing Director for Towergate Insurance Brokers in Wales, in one of my previous roles, I am very pleased to be working with him again after a period of 13 years.

“It is critically important to me in a rapidly changing insurance market that I have access to fast and efficient systems, schemes and facilities tailored to suit the businesses I work with, together with unrivalled market access. I was really struck by the strong sense of family at the offices in Swansea and joining Towergate and the abundance of experience within the team was the obvious choice for me”

Gary Stevens, Area Managing Director for Towergate Insurance Brokers in Wales, said: “I’m personally very pleased to be welcoming Jeff to the team here in Swansea, having had a great working relationship with him many years ago.

“Jeff brings with him a wealth of broker knowledge and a strong desire to do the best for his clients, through his previous roles as a Director.

“We’re very much looking forward to him becoming a part of the team and seeing if his bug for extreme sports rubs off on the rest of us!”
