    Multi-million pound office refurbishment in Cardiff on track

    The multi-million pound refurbishment of Fusion Point One to create modern and sustainable Grade A office space, by Fidelity UK Real Estate Fund is now well underway with work due to complete Summer 2020.

    The main contract has been awarded to Cardiff based Paramount Office Interiors Ltd. Ewan Montgomery, Portfolio Manager – UK Real Estate Fidelity International, commented “We are pleased to announce Paramount have been awarded the contract to undertake our extensive redevelopment of Fusion Point One. It is particularly pleasing that we have been able to appoint a local Welsh contractor who share our vision on producing the very best sustainable office environment in Cardiff”.

    Dan Wride of Paragon Building Consultancy commented “We are delighted to be appointed as Project Managers, Cost Consultancy and Employers Agents on Fusion Point One, it is an exciting project which is providing much needed Grade A office space in the centre of Cardiff”.

    Richard Jones, Managing Director of Paramount Office Interiors Ltd. commented “We are delighted to have secured the refurbishment works at Fusion Point One on behalf of UK Real Estate Fidelity International, having undertaken numerous schemes within the building over the course of many years. Works are now progressing at pace and we are looking forward to delivering this much needed Grade A office space into the Cardiff market”.

    Agents to the scheme are Fletcher Morgan and JLL Cardiff, John James of Fletcher Morgan commented “Fusion Point One will provide 64,694 sq ft of Grade A office space with 95 car spaces only 3 minutes walk from Cardiff Central Station and a short distance from the site earmarked by Cardiff Council for the new County Hall”.

    Rhydian Morris of JLL commented “Fusion Point One will provide much needed Grade A office space and is well placed to take advantage of the current low supply of quality office stock available in Cardiff city centre”.
