Detectives investigating a serious assault in Swansea have issued an appeal for information about the whereabouts of two people wanted in connection with the incident. Lianne Zara Jenkins, 40, and Robert John Jenkins, 42, are being sought by officers investigating the incident in Carreg Cennen Gardens, Bonymaen, at around 8pm on Wednesday, April 3. A 34-year-old man from Bonymaen was taken to hospital with serious injuries following the incident. Anybody who sees either individual is urged not to approach them – and instead to call 999 immediately.

Police in Cardiff are investigating the murder of a 48-year-old man from the Grangetown area of the city. The family of the victim have been made aware and are being supported by specially trained officers. Emergency services responded to reports of an incident in the Heol-Y-Berllan and Heol Trelai area of Caerau shortly before 11.30pm on Sunday night (April 7) Three women have been arrested on suspicion of murder, a 28-year-old woman from Ely, a 43-year-old woman from Caerau and a 43-year-old woman from Worcestershire remain in custody. A project requiring over 100 tonnes of steel to create a replacement Virtual Contingency Facility (VCF) at Heathrow Airport was completed by south Wales based Pro Steel Engineering.  The aim of the Tower Transformation VCF project was to provide a replacement VCF to allow Heathrow to consistently deliver up to 1,000 Air Traffic Movements (ATM) per day from delivery, safeguarding for the potential future increase to 1,350 ATMs per day, safely and efficiently. They’re invited to drop-in sessions in the park when matters under discussion could range from drainage and lighting to WiFi and access. Two men from Cardiff have been sent to prison after pleading guilty to being concerned in the supply of heroin and ‘crack’ cocaine. Work has started on the expansion of the cinema and the upgrade of facilities at Pontardawe Arts Centre. The upgrade includes the addition of a new 70-seat cinema, alongside improvements to the café and bar, a redesigned ticket office area, and various cosmetic enhancements.
