A Bridgend woman has been jailed after she admitted breaching a disqualification order where she had been banned from keeping dogs for five years. Janine Maloney of Bridgend Road, Aberkenfig, appeared at Cardiff Magistrates’ Court on 20 February after previously pleading guilty to two offences under the Animal Welfare Act on 15 December 2023. Business confidence in Wales fell seven points during February to 25%, according to the latest Business Barometer from Lloyds Bank Commercial Banking. Transport for Wales (TfW) has teamed up with Hywel Dda University Health Board (UHB) to offer free bus travel for health board staff as part of a new pilot to encourage workers to travel more sustainably and to help reduce pressure on its car parks. On Saturday December 2, 2023, Thomas Williams,26, from Rhondda Cynon Taf was detained by door security at a ‘Rave’ event at ‘The Vaults’ Cardiff.
