A new scheme to help fans get fit through their love of football has been officially launched in Wales. FIT FANS is a collaboration between the Football Association of Wales and the English Football League Trust (EFL Trust), supported by funding from the Welsh Government’s ‘Healthy Weight: Healthy Wales’ programme. Football fans aged between 35 and 65 will be able to join the 12-week healthy lifestyle programme. WELSH fabricator Dudley’s Aluminium will support the construction of new buildings at fellow manufacturer Renishaw in Miskin. Renishaw is a global engineering and scientific technology company, specialising in providing manufacturing technologies, analytical instruments and medical devices. The company is investing more than £50m in its Miskin site, with the aim of increasing manufacturing capacity and working towards achieving net zero. The investment funds the creation of 400,000 square feet of buildings, consisting of two low carbon production halls and an employee welfare facility. The first quarter of 2023 saw the take up of industrial property over 50,000 sq ft in Wales bounce back from a subdued previous three months, with transactions totalling 412,000 sq ft over six  deals according to new research from global property consultancy Knight Frank. The level of activity was four times more than during Q4 2022 and almost 100,000 sq ft more than the same period last year.
