A recent incident involving two teenagers from Ferndale deliberately setting grass fires is a timely reminder ahead of the Easter Holidays. The boys, aged 15 and 13, were spoken to by police on Monday, 8th March after they were summoned home by their parents who had been paid a visit by officers looking for their sons. A family who have been searching for their loved one who went missing over 18 months ago, have been given hope by a possible sighting in the Stratford Upon Avon area last September (2020). Detectives investigating the murder of Tomasz Waga in Cardiff have made further arrests in London and are appealing for information on a third suspect. A 25-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of murder, and is released under investigation, while a 35-year-old man arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender remains in custody. A fast-growing North Wales builder has announced an order book bulging with £60 million of work including plans for 300 new homes in the next four years.
