Cardiff Bus has increased its services across its network from 21st March, and as a result, has increased frequency to Cardiff and Barry mass vaccination centres in a bid to provide access to as many people as possible. For the Bayside Mass Vaccination Centre services 9, 13, and X45 will stop on Olympian Way, on the opposite side of the road to the centre. A recent incident involving two teenagers from Ferndale deliberately setting grass fires is a timely reminder ahead of the Easter Holidays. The boys, aged 15 and 13, were spoken to by police on Monday, 8th March after they were summoned home by their parents who had been paid a visit by officers looking for their sons. Just hours before, the teenagers were seen lighting fires by other youths who managed to alert officers patrolling nearby. A family who have been searching for their loved one who went missing over 18 months ago, have been given hope by a possible sighting in the Stratford Upon Avon area last September (2020). Jordan Moray was 33 years-old when he disappeared without a trace in July, 2020. The door of his flat was left unsecure and his games console was still running. His mobile phone was left on charge. Detectives investigating the murder of Tomasz Waga in Cardiff have made further arrests in London and are appealing for information on a third suspect. A 25-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of murder, and is released under investigation, while a 35-year-old man arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender remains in custody. Both men were arrested in the north London area. Two men have already been charged in connection with Tomasz’ death and are remanded in custody awaiting trial. A fast-growing North Wales builder has announced an order book bulging with £60 million of work including plans for 300 new homes in the next four years. Mochdre-based Brenig Construction have doubled their turnover in the last 12 months to over £20 million and are currently working on sites from Bangor to Winsford in Cheshire. A tourism leader in North Wales says it’s a “great shame” that attractions and most of the hospitality industry won’t be open for Easter. Coleg y Cymoedd has revealed plans to transform the provision of sports education for learners in the Rhondda Cynon Taf, with the development of a brand new multi-million-pound sports training and teaching facility in Nantgarw.
