A new charity has been established to fundraise and provide additional support for the dogs being looked after at Cardiff Dogs Home and promote responsible dog ownership and humane behaviour towards dogs. South Wales Police is appealing for witnesses to a serious road traffic collision on the northbound carriageway of the A4232 between Leckwith and Culverhouse Cross, at 7.10am today (Wednesday April 22). One car – a maroon Peugeot 307 – was involved and the male driver was taken to the University Hospital of Wales, Cardiff, where he remains is a critical but stable condition. People suffering heart attacks during the coronavirus outbreak may be putting their lives at risk by delaying seeking medical help, according to the British Heart Foundation Cymru (BHF Cymru). Cardiologists believe there has been a drop of at least 20% in the number of people seen in hospitals across Wales with a suspected heart attack since the UK-wide lockdown, a BHF survey has found.
