Swansea University scientists’ hard work in the fight against endometrial cancer has seen them being granted a US patent for pioneering new therapy. Professor Deya Gonzalez and Professor Steve Conlan, of Swansea University Medical School’s Reproductive Biology and Gynaecological Oncology group, developed a method of treating gynaecological cancer which it is hoped will minimise side effects for patients. 15,000 young people in Wales have pledged to tackle Wales’ biggest social issues with the launch of ScoutsCymru’s A Million Hands project. Housing market activity slowed significantly in Wales last month, driven by factors including Brexit uncertainty, seasonality, and the upcoming General Election, according to the monthly RICS (Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors) Residential Market Survey.
