The Wales Cancer Network appoints Professor Jared Torkington, Consultant Colorectal Surgeon at Cardiff and Vale Health Board, as the country’s first Bowel Cancer Clinical Lead, funded by Bowel Cancer UK. Following the success of Cardiff Market’s first ever Night Market in July, which in just three hours saw more than 2000 people browsing the stalls of some of Cardiff’s most iconic traders, a date has been confirmed for the next market. The family of a man who died following a workplace incident last week have paid tribute to him. Adam Llewellyn, from Bridgend, died following an incident involving a quad bike on the grounds of Eglwys Nunydd Reservoir, Margam, on Thursday, September 5.
