Twenty-one people in St. Brides Wentlooge are celebrating today after winning £1,000 each thanks to their lucky postcode. The Lighthouse Park neighbours netted the windfall when NP10 8ST was announced as a Daily Prize winner with People’s Postcode Lottery on Tuesday 17th March 2020. The government has issued an updated list of those most ‘at risk’ if they contract the Coronavirus disease. In yesterday’s first daily update by the Prime Minister Boris Johnson, pregnant woman were added to the ‘vulnerable’ list. Public Health England chief medical officer Chris Whitty said those on the list should stay at home for 12 weeks. The total number of people in Wales who have tested positive for Coronavirus currently stand at 124, after a further 30 people were diagnosed. A police boss has launched a new crusade against con artists who are targeting lonely men and women in cruel romance scams. North Wales Police and Crime Commissioner Arfon Jones has made tackling fraud of all kinds a key priority in his Police and Crime Plan and says he’s concerned about the growing number of so-called Rom Cons.
