The UK Multiple Sclerosis (MS) Register, based at Swansea University, has been awarded just over £1m investment from UK charity, the MS Society. The Register is a ground-breaking medical research study that seeks to collect information from people with the disease about what it’s like to live day-to-day with Multiple Sclerosis. Transport for Wales welcomes the Secretary of State for Transport’s announcement of the launch of the 16-17 Saver railcard from September 2019 and have committed to providing further discounted fares for young people, starting in January 2020. Kane Griffiths-Jeffries, aged 22, ran the class A drugs operation from London and attempted to use two 17-year-old girls to flood the streets of Bridgend with crack cocaine and heroin. A bell which has helped saved many lives in South Wales over the years is being taken on a national tour with the aim of saving many more in the future.
