A video production company has made two appointments and moved to bigger offices to accommodate its expansion plans.

Cardiff-based Rockadove has appointed a production assistant and motion graphics artist as it sees demand for its services grow.

With a degree in PR from Bournemouth University, Jennifer Carew, from Builth Wells, joins as production assistant. She will be responsible for client liaison, managing filming schedules, scouting locations and organising actors.

Matthew Price, from Cardiff, joins Rockadove’s Motion Graphics and Animation team from fast growing tech start-up OpenGenius. Having recently produced successful animations for the NHS, Cardiff University and The Royal Mint, this is an area of the business Rockadove is looking to expand.

After growing 30 per cent in 2017, Rockadove is focussed on continued expansion and is currently recruiting for a further three posts – Camera Operator, Video Editor and Animator.

To accommodate this growth, the business has recently moved to new offices in Cardiff Bay, which are three times the size of its previous office space.

Lloyd Morgan, managing director at Rockadove, said:

“We’re delighted to be in a position to take on new team members and both Jennifer and Matthew are both talented individuals who will be a huge asset to our team.

“Over the last few years, we have been experiencing growing demand for our services and have been securing work for companies all around the UK and filming across Europe.

“After a year of consolidation we still saw 30% growth last year, which has allowed us to improve processes and service for our clients.

“We have ambitious growth plans in the pipeline and are already recruiting for three new team members to join us this year. We are doing this to strengthen our production team, to deliver bigger and more comprehensive projects for our clients.”

Rockadove was set up in 2010 by Lloyd Morgan. It is a full service video production company specialising in promotional videos, branded content and motion graphics.

Tapping into the growing demand for video content, Rockadove has grown into one of Wales’ leading and most creative video production companies working internationally with notable clients including Pobl Group, Bristol NHS, Invacare and South Wales Fire & Rescue.
