Do not make these 7 Common Dubai Desert Safari Mistakes

Dubai Desert Safari is one of the most popular tourist attractions in Dubai. It’s also an adventure. It requires more than just jumping into a land cruiser and finding yourself in the desert.

There are many aspects to consider. For example, the time of day you want to go, whether it’s a shared trip or one where you’re alone, etc.

By taking note of these tips and other helpful advice provided by the experts, you can save yourself from the stress and have a great time in Dubai!

Here are the top 7 mistakes you are likely to make:

    •  Not pre-booking your tour!

Not pre-booking your trip. This can be expensive and you may miss out on a great deal if you don’t book early enough!

For example, if you want to go on a day trip outside of Dubai city it’s better to book at least 2 weeks in advance. You should do that rather than just 1 day before departure!

You should avoid booking too late. One should always try and book your trip as soon as possible because they might sell out completely before then.

    • Forgetting to re-confirm your tours.

Do not forget to re-confirm your tours. If you are unsure of what kind of clothing or equipment you will be required to wear on your night desert safari in Dubai, make sure that it is in the car when you arrive at the pick-up location.

Make sure that you are at the pick-up location on time! The last thing anyone wants is for them to have an excellent day in Dubai and then miss out because someone else showed up late or couldn’t get away from work quickly enough.

    • Wearing the wrong clothing.

The sun is intense, so make sure you wear clothes that are light and easy to remove. A hat will protect your head from the sun’s rays. Sunscreen is always a good idea even when it’s cloudy. Make sure your shoes are comfortable too!

    • Being too late for pick-up.

If you’re late for pick-up, your driver will be waiting and ready to go. If you miss the vehicle by 15 minutes or more, however, they’ll leave without you.

It’s simple. It’s not convenient enough for them to wait around while their passengers get their affairs in order. It isn’t worth getting into an expensive fight over a few dollars when both parties could just call the other one on their way out of town and make up later.

    • Choosing the wrong tour operator.

Choosing the wrong tour operator can be one of the most common mistakes you make when planning your trip to Dubai. If you’re not careful, it could mean that you don’t get to see what you want or even at all. It is likely your experience will be a bad one.

If choosing a tour operator isn’t something that comes naturally to some people, then here’s some advice: do some research! Make sure they have good reviews and look into whether they offer other tours as well.

    • Going by yourself.

You’re going on a desert safari. This can be an exhilarating experience. But, it’s also important to be prepared for the dangers of the desert. Make sure you have enough water, food and fuel in your car before leaving town.

If possible, try to get more than one person who knows how to handle an off-road vehicle. So that there is someone else available if something goes wrong while driving through rough terrain or sand dunes.

    • Being rude or insulting to the locals.

When you are in a foreign country, it is important not to be rude or insulting to the locals.

Be respectful of local customs. Do not speak loudly. And do not touch other people’s things and do not walk around with your hand outstretched in front of you. It may seem odd at first but this will help you fit into their society better when they’re around you!

    Conclusion

We hope this article has inspired you to plan a desert safari with your friends and family! With the right preparation and knowledge, it’s easy to have an amazing time on our tours.

The time of day you want to go and whether it’s a shared trip or one where you’re alone are just some of the important factors that need to be taken into consideration when planning your desert safari in Dubai.

By taking note of these tips and other helpful advice provided by the experts, you can save yourself the stress and have a great time in Dubai!
